Timesheets Integrations: GitHub, Trello, & Asana
Connect Trello, Asana, or GitHub to surface your work activity directly on your Timesheets Timeline.
Each integration adds highlights to your Timeline as you work: Trello card changes, completed Asana tasks, and GitHub commits all appear automatically alongside your tracked time, giving you a richer picture of what you accomplished each day.
Connect Trello
Go to Settings → Explore Apps, find Trello, and click Learn more.
Click Connect your Trello account, grant the requested permissions, and click Allow.
Once connected, click the gear icon to open Settings. Use the checkboxes to select which Trello boards you want to track on your Timesheets Timeline.
What appears on your Timeline
Changes to cards on your selected boards appear as timeline highlights on My Timeline. Each card change is timestamped and shown alongside your tracked time for the day.
Disconnect Trello
Go to Settings → Manage Apps, click the gear icon next to Trello, and select Delete app.
Connect Asana
Go to Settings → Explore Apps, find Asana, and click Learn more.
Click Connect your Asana account, grant the requested permissions, and click Allow.
Once connected, click the gear icon to open Settings. Select the Asana workspaces you want to track on your Timesheets Timeline and click Save workspace choices.
What appears on your Timeline
Completed tasks from your selected workspaces appear as timeline highlights on My Timeline, timestamped alongside your tracked time for the day.
Disconnect Asana
Go to Settings → Manage Apps, click the gear icon next to Asana, and select Delete app.
Connect GitHub
Go to Settings → Explore Apps, find GitHub, and click Learn more.
Click Connect your GitHub account, grant the requested permissions, and click Authorize RescueTime.
No additional settings to configure. RescueTime will start surfacing your commits on your Timeline automatically.
What appears on your Timeline
Completed commits appear as timeline highlights on My Timeline, timestamped alongside your tracked time for the day.
Disconnect GitHub
Go to Settings → Manage Apps, click the gear icon next to GitHub, and select Delete app.
