Stuck Assistant

Sometimes your Assistant may not be cooperative. For instance, it may show you yesterday's productivity or not show the Focus Session screen when you are in a Focus Session. When this happens, go to your Assistant on the menu bar or system tray > right click on your mouse > click "Refresh Assistant." This should typically fix the issue.

However, if it does not then you'll need to do more. You may need to restart your computer and start up the Assistant again. 

If this doesn't resolve the problem, then more drastic measures will need to be taken. 

  1. Uninstall the current RescueTime app
  2. Then reinstall the RescueTime app
  3. Restart your computer
