Focus for Teams Overview

RescueTime Focus for Teams helps organizations understand how work time is spent, protect focus, and spot patterns that make it harder for teams to do meaningful work.

Team leaders get visibility into focus trends, key tools, and high-level activity categories without exposing the details of an individual's workday.

What team reports show

Team reports help you understand patterns across your organization. Depending on your role, you can review:

  • Time summaries for the whole organization
  • Reports filtered by specific teams or individual members
  • Time spent in top-level categories (e.g., Software Development, Communication, Focus Work)
  • Time spent in key tools selected by the team
  • Daily work patterns showing when activity peaks and drops

What team reports don't show

RescueTime Focus for Teams is designed to support better work habits, not monitor every second of the day.

Owners and admins can view high-level summaries, selected key tools, and category totals. They cannot view a member's full personal activity history. Non-work activities remain private to that individual.
