How do I know if RescueTime is running

It's easy to tell if RescueTime is properly installed and running on your computer—just make sure you see the RescueTime icon!

Windows

Look for the RescueTime icon in the system tray in the bottom right corner of your screen:

 You will also find the RescueTime application in your Start Menu:

Mac

Look for the RescueTime icon in your OS X Menu Bar at the top of your screen. You will also be able to find the RescueTime application in your Applications menu in the Finder.

Don't see the RescueTime icon? You'll need to download and install a new copy of the application.
