RescueTime Timesheets Glossary
This glossary will help you learn the essentials of Timesheets.
Project:
User-defined project listed on the left side of the main Timesheets page
Hint:
Information provided to the AI by the user when you set up a Project to make suggested time blocks more accurate, i.e. websites, apps, file names
Time Block:
User or AI-generated span of project time (default: 15 minutes) on the timeline. This can be adjusted on the Timesheet Settings page > under Project block size minimum.
Timeline:
Hourly view where project time is dropped or automatically generated
Activity:
Computer activity recorded by RescueTime and automatically added to the timeline
Suggestion:
A Time Block suggested by RescueTime, awaiting user review and approval
Bucket:
5-minute timespan dominated by a single activity.

Highlights:
Highlights are activities displayed on your timeline including GitHub, Trello, Asana, and Harvest.
