Focus Time for Google Calendar

Use Google Calendar's Focus Time feature to add Focus Sessions to your calendar. This feature is available on Google Workspace only.

During a Focus Session, Personal/Distracting activities will be blocked. 

  1. In Google Calendar click the Create button.

  2. Choose Focus time from the calendar options.
  3. Create the calendar event with all applicable details and click Save. When creating the event, be sure it's in your calendar and not the RescueTime calendar.

4. The calendar event will look like this: 

RescueTime will automatically begin a Focus Session that lasts for the duration of the event.
