How to Delete Your RescueTime Account

You can delete your RescueTime account and all associated data at any time.

There are two ways to delete your account: through Billing settings or through Data & Privacy settings. Both paths permanently erase your account and all of its data.

Option 1: Via Billing settings

Open Account Settings

Click your display name in the top-right corner and choose Account Settings from the dropdown.

Go to Billing

Select Billing in the left sidebar.

Click Delete your account

On the right side of the page, choose Delete your account.

Option 2: Via Data & Privacy settings

You can also delete your account from Account Settings > Data & Privacy.

This cannot be undone. Deleting your account permanently erases all your data from RescueTime's servers. It cannot be recovered.

Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Removing the RescueTime app from your computer or phone leaves your account and data intact. Account deletion can only be completed from your account settings.
