What are your sub-processors, as defined by the GDPR?
Our sub-processors
Under the GDPR, a sub-processor is any third-party business or contractor that may handle customer data while providing services on behalf of RescueTime. This definition is broad and can include infrastructure providers like cloud platforms.
We work with a small number of trusted partners to support essential parts of our service. These partners help us deliver a smooth, secure, and high-quality experience, especially in areas outside our core expertise.
Below is a list of the sub-processors we currently use:
Amazon AWS | USA | Cloud Infrastructure for our apps and services |
Paypal, Inc. (Braintree subsidiary) | USA | Customer payments |
Helpscout, Inc. | USA | Customer support |
Customer.io | USA | Customer interactions |
SurveyMonkey | USA | Customer feedback |
ChartMogul | Germany | Business analysis |
Google, Inc | USA | Site analytics (web) and customer interactions (email) |
Open.ai (Optional) |
USA | Product feature enhancements; our users choose to enable or not. Data is never used in model training. |
